An emotional day. Expressing milk wasn't working. I began expressing at 5pm (aka crazy time). I guess yielding only 40ml after a very busy day was inevitable. By 9pm, I was beside myself. I didn't have enough nourishment for my baby. Bryn went out to buy formula and Fiona came over to console the the frustrated mother. Sophie took to the bottle and downed 90ml in 4 minutes. Clearly, she was starving.
Witness a contented baby Sophie for the first time in 7 weeks. It didn't take long before she drifted off for the night.
